After having totally messed up my shoulder while surfing in Costa Rica in February and believing it would never get better, Scott Heinlein started me on a rehab program, which progressed in concert with my own progress. Scott's confidence and amazing expertise with shoulder injuries achieved my stated goal--to get back into the surf by the summer.

My daughter who is a swimmer saw Scott at Lifestrength Physical Therapy when she was very close to quitting the sport due to her injury. She had little to no range of motion in her neck and other various upper body injuries. She was out of the pool and unable to practice or compete. Scott was not only able to get her back in the water quickly, but he also got her on the road to recovery. He also encouraged and motivated her as she did rehab. His knowledge of the sport of swimming is extensive which allowed him to design a PT program that was of great benefit to my daughter. We traveled from York to see Scott and will not see any other PT. I cannot recommend him enough.

Scott Heinlein is the best physical therapist I've seen. Over the course of a few months he essentially completely resolved longstanding shoulder instability and pain through effective therapy and prescribed exercises. This was done with clear explanation and answers to my questions. Not only has this problem been solved but I got guidance on some other issues and I feel I have a much better mental framework to take with me if other similar issues arise.

Lifestrength has done wonders for 2 of my kids. One had a shoulder pain due to swimming and Scott quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected his technique, gave him some therapeutic exercises, and within a couple months, the pain was gone. That was 3 years ago and my son is still swimming all year round and no more pain. Scott has also worked with my daughter who is a ballet dancer for hip issues. Same story-he takes his time diagnosing, provides a thoughtful plan of attack to address the issue, and we are seeing improvements each day. Scott's knowledge of the body and the problems long hours of sports practice can induce on athletes is invaluable. Try Lifestrength Phys Therapy first, and you won't be disappointed!

For years I've struggled with what I thought was sciatica pain in both legs, with most of my pain in the glute/hamstring area (constant discomfort sitting/standing/sleeping, shooting pain down my legs especially when running/exercising, occasional tingling in my toes). I'd tried deep tissue massages, physical therapy, chiropractic sessions, running, sleeping differently, muscle ointments/creams, you name it.... Ali, after hearing my symptoms, shared that she was confident I wasn't experiencing sciatica issues but instead chronically tight glutes and hamstrings and suggested giving dry needling a try. After my third session, all discomfort was gone!!! Seriously, life changing! I've referred so many people to Ali for PT and specifically to try DN. Ali listens, takes interest in your lifestyle and activities, gets to know your history, and strives to get to the root of your issue to determine the best treatment plan for you.
